TITANS WHEELCHAIR SPORTS
Champions Wheelchair Sports was formed in 2009 to address the social and athletic needs of physically challenged young adults. It is all about making friends! Today, with compassionate support from families, friends, volunteers and the local community, the Titans meet bi-weekly to enjoy friendly competition and healthy exercise through a fun game of wheelchair soccer.
SOCIAL EVENTS
Everyone loves a party! We have a number of social events throughout the year - all provided at no charge. A few examples from this past year include a Halloween Party, Christmas Party, Baseball Outing, Tailgate Party, Casino Party, Bowling Party and a group trip to the World of Coke! CHAMPIONS COMMUNITY CONNECT
We are excited to launch Champions Community Connect, a new virtual community that will provide our Titan community with the opportunity to be together even more frequently than the 30+ in-person Titan events offered today. Champions Community Connect can be accessed on Facebook, where you can find interesting posts and a schedule of live events that suit your active lifestyle and diverse interests. Join your Titan friends virtually to play trivia, UNO and other fun games. Join our bible study or book club, watch a movie with friends and more.
CHAMPIONS PLACE @HOME
Champions Place@Home provides members of our Titan Community much of the same technology and best practices enjoyed by the residents of Champions Place. And this offering is available at no cost to you! It provides members of our Titan Community with an opportunity to increase their independence and self-reliance by performing various functions in their home using voice activation, mobile apps, and/or other adaptive technologies.
